defender! defend my BB!

as clumsy as i am. i am having trouble finding cases for my phones especially for my blackberry which is my most treasured-slash-important phone! it will be fine for me to leave my extra phone in my house since i rarely check it because mostly, that extra phone of mine is to communicate with my family and some friends in the province, and i do that always in night time and not in day time. but still, i oblige myself to bring that nokia e63 in case of an emergency and things like that. Now we proceed to my main phone, my BlackBerry, all my emails are there, social networking accounts, and almost my on-line life is there. plus the news i read everymorning through the apps like TIMES, THE INDEPENDENT, and NY TIMES which i downloaded thru the BlackBerry Appworld. so it is very important. but lately, i have these instances where i dropped my BB, damn it! a lot of times actually, thank god it still is working so well. but as neat freak or as super cautious as i can be, i googled, and found the mightiest case of them all.. i think... the Otterbox defender! it is 3 layers, and according to some video demos and user testings i've viewed in YouTube, their gadgers survived with this thing on! i even saw an iphone that fell from the 23rd floor of a building! and it survived! how miraculous! i will never let my BB fall from a 23 floor story building or higher yet i bought this case just in case! haha. also because i am planning to switch to a new bb on 2013 rather than next year 2012, so i bet and hope that this thing will keep my baby running as perfect as it is!

mobile phone painting

me and my brother had nothing to do and since we were painting his stuff in the frame. we decided to have fun by personalizing our phones by REALLY painting on it! so here's a shot of my other phone and his phone taken from  my blackberry. i promise to never paint my blackberry so that it will have a more formal look since i really am addicted to it much! i remember planning to give up my extra phone or my ipod since i carry a lot of gadget everyday (ipod,blackberry,camera,extra phone, etc..) and i am quite irritated having to charge two phones and sometimes my ipod too every night. such a hassle. i was planning to buy an android phone or an iphone to replace my ipod touch and my extra phone but when i searched the internet for some prices. i just figured to keep both in order to save money that mom always tells me to do so. i really need two phones even if i am still a student. for different networks and different service plan. my other phone is really in use for keeping in touch with my friends from the province and family and my blackberry phone is for my city/manila friends. people from the city and province use different networks. damn. that's y people like me who moved from the province to the city, in order to keep in touch needs two weapons! haha.

gadget cases!

admittedly i am very keen and protective of the things i possess. from clothing to my gadgets, to the apartment my parents rent for me to my kitchen wares. i am not the type of person who lets others borrow my things just like that. i am very protective of my precious things! especially if those things were really sentimental or given by a really significant person in my life or i saved up for a really long time. so of course one of those things that i really saved up for is my blackberry bold. so last week, before our family's malaysian and singaporean sojourn. i decided to buy my bb a real nice case. i also decided to buy my other phone a nice case too but alas! i cant find anything for it! moving back to my bb's case, after carefully scanning stores and intimidating sales attendants, i finally found a cute case! haha. I've always been using my bb's holster so this one is a first for me. 

it's so cute right?? haha koala inspired! blue! and the ears! hahaha. it makes a guy like me feel childish. yeah i know the case isn't so masculine at all but hey i think it's not gay. it's just neutral. just cute! haha. then my dad accidentally droped my canon powershot SD990 IS and it now some really noticeable scratches and a bumped part! bumped part -a lowered surface in my camera! i'll show it soon when I'm not that depressed anymore. that dropped made me feel sad since I really treasure my things! and my camera doesn't even have a single scratch from the day i bought  it! until now that event still makes me sad. i can't be angry at my dad because i think he's sane that he really didn't intentionally meant to do it. anyway, to make myself smile i decided to buy a case for it. been scanning or rather raiding the mall once more till i notice this very cute case in the mall! it's just from a local store Halo but it was cute! really! swear! it looks like a Leica camera on the outside!

isn't it adorable. u can notice the bump on my camera at the bottom left part. so sad. but anyway, i should move on and just be grateful that the camera is so durable that it still works perfectly! miracle. greatness. 

Mexicali! ooohlala

I've been craving for some mexican foods like nachos, tacos, and buritos for the past weeks. then i decided to dine in mexicali and ordered some delicious tacos and nachos! the food was great! though average than expected. and it's very affordable to dine in mexicali! i'll try a rice meal soon.. maybe arroz cubana! haha. 

LRT-MRT map!

i found this very accurate map of the LRT-MRT in Roosevelt station area after visiting a friend. compared to some maps.. this map still looks good. the others i saw look quite crappy or very crappy already! now i will know how to go to all around Metro Manila commuting or using public transport than always riding a taxi cab! i can also save money by doing this! 

Sunday Buy Day!

It had been such a tiring day roaming around the mall, Robinsons Place Manila. A friend of mine, thru BBM told me that there is a mall wide sale last friday. So as usual, I've been almost excited as ever to splurge some of my savings to items i think i needed -more like i wanted. 

I've been wanting to buy a sling bag since last last week. i now realized that most of my bags had been huge or maybe just big. because i've been constantly using messenger bags and men's tote bags for 5 years straight. and this friend of mine, Blaise Salcedo suggested to me to try just carrying a sling bag. small but efficient in packing day-to-day essentials. So noticing that I need to carry light things now. I tried using a JUAN sling bag and I just carried my books by my hand -i used to put them inside my big bags and that made me carry a little heavy baggage! and yeah.. when i tried just going to school with a sling bag I realized it was perfect so light! and i just need to carry an envelope made of fabric to keep my school stuffs. So when i was in the mall, i've been searching for a sling bag when i came to another favorite shop 101newyork i saw that they're on such a fire sale!! their accesories like bracelets, necklaces and and scarves cost only from Php 100-250 ($2-$5) only! so i bought 1 scarf and 1 bracelet and to such an amazement or maybe miracle my bill is Just Php250.00. back to the story where i need a sling bag. i bought one at converse since it was a sale. i argued to myself for 1hr if i should buy a converse sling bag or a Wade sling bag since they are on the same price that made me more confused! since Wade is a local brand but it has a classier design.. i opted to buy the converse sling bag just for a new twist! here it is! 

wonderful! i think so! I've been craving for some red stuffs lately by the way! I'm quite already hungry now.. til my next post! and I promise to post more regularly soon! and also to save money more! this guy needs to shop! haha. And I'd love to say that thanks to my BBM friend to Jepoy Herrera for telling me about the sale on Robinsons! Nice! 

BBM -to go back to BlackBerry or not?

yesterday, I wasn't able to view my grades on-line cause of a very technical error our school gave to my account. so I decided to go back to Manila since it was a long vacation after all, then I approached various school personnel responsible or who can help. as I've been thinking about for days, I failed my Management and General Taxation course. but when I viewed my Grades on-line, I didn't. yes! I passed all of my subjects again! thankfully! and also I have a high average for the third term compared to most students again and among my friends.

so we all need to get ourselves some rewards for our achievements right? i was thinking of getting a BlackBerry again. my first was a pearl 8100 but it gave up on me and I since then switched to two new Nokia Eseries, Nokia E63 and Nokia E71 to help me manage, manipulate and communicate with my social, personnal and academical life. adding to my 2 babies is a 32GB iPod touch cause I don't want to put music on my phones. LOL. I've been wondering lately to switch to a new BB as a reward for myself. or to buy a new camera instead. I've been told by my friends that my Eseries are more feature-packed than a blackberry, especially if 3G is in the talk. besides BBM, emailing, social networking, and other BB stuffs, what is it that makes BlackBerrys nice? i've been a data plan subscriber on my two phones and I don't use the internet much on them since most of my contacts are online by night, reachable via text or call by day. and besides I only know 2 friends who are into blackberry so does that mean only the two of them are my possible BBM buddies? kinda ironic. plus I am not into social networking. really. I used to. but now it kinda bores me. I don't know why exactly. maybe I just don't want to get distracted too much. but what really makes me think of switching to a blackberry is about their stylish-ness. maybe not really attractive for everybody, but at least, for me. maybe the functions of a cell isn't really important for me. I don't even take pictures using my phones. and listen to music as well. i just need a qwerty keyboard, data plan, texting and calling. i don't know what is it with alphanumeric keyboards but last time I used one, my bill sky-rocketed due to calling. can't text via alphanumeric keyboards. i really don't know why. i was thinking of switching to an iPhone instead but I already got an iPod touch. and the keyboard on the screen is a hassle in typing for my sweaty fingers. i might end up calling and calling again.

what are the pros and cons of switching to BlackBerry? I just want a white one. technically a WhiteBerry LOL i thing the white is soo beautiful that I'd love to clutch it around. i like phones with real nice colors. I used to have one bedazzed in blue and black. and another painted in red. to go back to BlackBerry or not had always been an everyday dilemma. help. Urgent.
